• The Egyptian Society of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology (EGYSIR), is a civil society concerned with presenting all available scientific support to Egyptian specialists of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology
• The society was established in 2010.
• In 2011, the first scientific Conference for the society was founded and maintained annually.
• In 2014, its journal was published for the first time and is continuously published since then.
• The Egyptian society of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology (EGYSIR), was  first chaired by Prof. Gaafar Ragab (Professor of Medicine & Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology Cairo University) 2010-2013 then this was followed by:
  • Prof. Ali Youssef (Professor of Medicine & Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology Mansoura university) from 2013 – 2016.
  • Prof. Mohammed Salah Eldin Abdel Baky (Professor of Medicine & Rheumatology and clinical immunology Ain Shams University)
